Project Overview

The 29th Summer Olympic Games, also known as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, were held in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, at 8 p.m. on August 8, 2008. 

The host city of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang, Qinhuangdao and Qingdao. Hong Kong hosts equestrian events.

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has 204 participating countries and regions, 11,438 athletes, 302 (28 kinds) of sports, a total of more than 60,000 athletes, coaches and officials participated.

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games set 43 new world records and 132 new Olympic records, a total of 87 countries and regions won medals in the event, China with 51 gold medals to pped the gold medal list, is the first Asian country in Olympic history to top the gold medal table.

Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center is one of the sub-venues for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as long as the project is football, Qinhuangdao City Stadium is one of the main buildings of the Olympic Sports Center. It is located in the harbor area southwest of Qinhuangdao city and is a functional stadium.
